Apprenticeships
Information for Employers
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes designed around employers needs which lead to recognised national qualifications. The framework of the qualifications includes the NVQ, a Technical Certificate and Key Skills (English and Maths) if required.
Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeships run for approximately 9 – 12 months and Advanced Apprenticeships run for approximately 12 - 18 months. An employer pays an apprentice £2.60 per hour minimum and the training is funded by the Government.
One of our assessors will go into the workplace to assess the apprentice and ensure that the unit requirements and criteria are being met.
The Apprentices are aged 16+ and can be a new member of staff recruited by us or an existing staff member. If you require a new member of staff our Single Advice Service will source the right person for you using the National Apprenticeship Vacancy Online Service.
